Our forests give us so much. They provide us with the air we breathe. They give us clean and abundant water. Forests are home to about 80 percent of the world's terrestrial species. Forests curb floods and keep hillsides from eroding, give us places to explore and relax, and provide us with light, strong, beautiful building material. And forests will continue to provide these things if we use them wisely.
