Napa supes must stop hiding from taking action to save watersheds, oaks!

With its recent approval of the controversial, sprawling Walt Ranch project the Napa County Board of Supervisors continued to ignore the implications of its own water supply data and its increasingly vocal electorate. Not to mention a climate emergency that has contributed hugely to the county's severe water limitations and fire-prone hillsides.
The supervisors have all the tools they need to get busy— not least of which are a General Plan goal of enhancing carbon sequestration in the county, and a Climate Emergency Resolution with a target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
The supes just need to enforce the existing rules. Now.
